Snapshots

Synopsis

My final animation derives off the first project we did- exploring within the design principles. I chose my design concept of contrast as a ‘leap-off’ point for my second project.
The space seems very architectural and geometrical, with strong sharp walls. It’s a very dark space and in the right moods could be viewed as an abandoned or neglected structure. Its decreasing heights of hierarchy give it the illusion of a subtle cylinder.
I like how the harsh shapes around the outside also manage to soften the final model. With these shapes I want them to be a continuous movement and to have the walls move too.
